Hello, I'm Jack – a BACP accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor.
I offer online or telephone counselling, with both short-term and long-term support options. My approach is guided by you—I'll meet you where you are, and together, we can create a safe, supportive space to explore what's on your mind. This is your time to be heard and understood.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but if you’re reading this, you’ve already taken an important step. Finding the right counsellor or therapist is key, which is why I offer a free 30-minute introductory session with no commitment required. This gives us a chance to meet and see if we’re a good fit.
Before you book, here’s a bit about me and how I work:
I draw primarily from person-centred and humanistic approaches, focusing on understanding your unique experiences and perspective. Together, we can explore what you're working through—whether it's uncovering your strengths, focusing on self-development, or finding ways to grow, heal, and feel more at ease with yourself and your situation, including any difficult life events you may be facing.

About My Experience
I am a counsellor currently working within the NHS, where I hold dual roles: one in an NHS Talking Therapies Service and another in a Staff Psychological Support Service. In these roles, I provide therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health challenges and offer psychological care to NHS staff navigating the stresses of their work.
Before stepping into my current positions, I worked as a bereavement counsellor in a hospice, providing emotional and bereavement support to individuals and families during end-of-life care. This experience deepened my understanding of grief, loss, and the profound emotional needs of patients and their loved ones during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
I also spent several years with a mental health charity, where I specialised in counselling the LGBTQIA+ community. During this time, I developed expertise in providing affirming and empathetic care to individuals navigating identity, coming out, discrimination, and mental health challenges within the LGBTQIA+ population.
Before transitioning into counselling, I worked for over 10 years in the charity sector with a leading young people's mental health organisation, where I gained extensive experience supporting young people and advocating for mental health awareness and wellbeing.
My Specialisms are working with:
Areas of Interest:
Anxiety, depression, stress, problems at work, loss/grief/bereavement, life changes, decision making, LGBTQIA+.
Above is a summary of the areas I work with, however I believe our connection is the most important thing. If you contact me we can discuss sessions and we can decide together whether we can work together in a free 30 minute intro session (details below).
